today’s ugly doodles were drawn while considering the following, during my commute:

how do you tell someone you’ve known for a while that you think they’re an asshole and you’re going to have to let them go? Assuming you’re a tolerant person, who recognizes that everyone’s personality is incurably flawed, how do you tell them that before they were maybe 50% asshole and now they’re like 60%? And while that 10% may seem negligible, it’s important because it’s a 10% deduction from your give-a-fuck bank that has never been 100%  from the start (assholes demand attention) AND a 10%  increase beyond your tolerable amount of assholdry (there are better people out there).
